WordPress Managed Care Plans
Your website is crucial to your business success...
Your website is an asset that is critical because of the role it plays in generating leads, customers and revenue. Your website provides a means for your suppliers, customers, potential staff and partners to easily find you and engage with you. And, it works for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All Websites are Vulnerable
CMS Websites are powered by software, which like any other software that will perform at its peak when it’s kept up to date. A shockingly high percentage of WordPress websites, for example, are not being updated regularly, which makes them extremely prone to a range of security and performance issues. Unfortunately, most website owners only become aware of this requirement after their site has been hacked, because their site had become an easy target.
Could I Do It Myself?
Sure you can, but you probably have better things to worry about. Keeping your website regularly updated, backed up and secure is a time-consuming process that can become quite tedious and often leads to eventual neglect of these essential tasks. They distract you from doing what you should be doing, which is running your business. However, if you want to give it a try, read WordPress Maintenance Tasks – A Beginners Guide for Small Business
Who Can Help?
There are plenty of options available to maintain your website. If you are currently not doing it yourself it’s highly likely your software is out of date, not being regularly backed up and security scanned.
Your hosting company may provide occasional backups, but it will be an automated process with no attention paid to the details of your specific business. These backups would also be stored on the same server which will offer little protection if something goes wrong with your web server.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do consulting calls work?
Whilst email yields a fast response, brainstorming new strategies works best on the phone or on a Skype call. Consulting calls are reserved for Elite Care Plan clients and are intended to focus the ongoing development of your website.
The key point of the monthly consulting call is to make a plan, implement, review, adapt, and stay accountable. Otherwise your website risks drifting off into the ether and being forgotten.
What happens if something goes wrong on my website?
The main aim of the WordPress Managed Care Plans is preventative care. If your website does experience a problem, I’ll be there communicating with the web host on your behalf.
I cannot promise your website will not be hacked but can promise I will do everything in my power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of the backups.
What does limited tasks mean?
‘Limited Tasks’ include content (Text and images) updates only. I’ll take care of anything that can be done within 30 minutes /60 minutes / or 120 minutes, depending on which plan you choose.
If I estimate a task to take more than the time stipulated for the particular Care Plan, I’ll provide a quote or refer you to someone who can help you out.
Can I rollover my monthly support time?
The monthly time is there every month, to reserve your place in my support queue. It doesn’t roll over for the Essential or Premium plans. You can take comfort in the fact that what you request within that time will be addressed with immediate attention.
The Elite plan allows for the 2-hour time to roll over up to one year from when the date the plan started, when it then resets.
Can I really cancel time?
Absolutely. Whilst I would would be sorry to see you go, I don’t lock anyone into a contract. Simply request a cancellation via email, I will immediately stop the next payment.
If my website was built by someone else, can I still be on a care plan?
